Purpose of this Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information relating to Producers, venue operators, business users, administrators and other individuals who use the ScreamTix platform.

This Privacy Policy does not generally apply to attendees, customers or guests of Producers who use ScreamTix.

Important Distinction Between Producers and Attendees

ScreamTix provides software services to Producers.

Where a Producer uses ScreamTix to collect, manage or process information relating to customers, attendees, guests or staff, the Producer will generally be the Data Controller and ScreamTix will act as a Data Processor on the Producer’s behalf.

This Privacy Policy explains how we process information relating to Producers and users of the ScreamTix platform.

In most circumstances the Producer is the Data Controller for that information.

ScreamTix acts as a Data Processor and processes such information on behalf of the Producer in accordance with our contractual obligations.

If you are an attendee or customer of a Producer using ScreamTix, you should contact the relevant Producer regarding the exercise of your privacy rights.

AI Features

Certain ScreamTix features may use artificial intelligence technologies.

Where you interact with AI-powered tools, prompts, responses and associated metadata may be processed and retained for platform security, service improvement, troubleshooting and quality assurance purposes.

You should avoid submitting sensitive personal information to AI-powered features unless necessary and authorised.

Sharing Information

We may share information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the platform, including:

  • Cloud hosting providers;
  • Payment processors;
  • Email delivery providers;

We may also use additional providers for payment processing, analytics, security monitoring, customer support, AI-powered services, infrastructure management and other operational purposes.

ScreamTix may operate internationally and information may be processed in countries outside the jurisdiction in which it was collected.

Audit records may be retained after account closure where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, evidential purposes or protection of our legitimate business interests.

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Producer account records: up to 6 years after account closure;
  • Invoices and billing records: up to 7 years;
  • Credit transaction records: up to 7 years;
  • Support records: up to 6 years;
  • Audit logs and security records: up to 6 years;
  • Platform backups: in accordance with our backup procedures.

We may retain information for longer where required by law, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, regulatory obligations or legitimate business interests.
